Tight Hamstrings

Tight hamstrings can indicate a loss of grounding and connection with the earth, also inherent feelings of loss of safety, security and trust. We can also be stuck in fight and flight mode, the adrenals stressed too.

We offer these suggestions based on our own experience and understanding, but what works for one person doesn’t always work for the next. So please always work with your own intuition, keep checking in and doing what feels right for you on your path to better health.

Other things to try

Connecting to the earth and learning to trust in its support can be helpful, go barefoot, feel the feet settling into the earth or the sand.

Reducing stress levels wherever possible. Learning to slow down, orientating into the heart and now and noticing the loveliness in each moment.

Resting to encourage the body out of fight and flight mode – Reiki and /or massage can also help enormously with this too - we recommend Sam Le Compte Massage - click here
