Elijah's friend, who joined us on the Jerbourg litter womble, told their teacher that they'd been on a glitter hunt. This made me laugh out loud. I love the idea that we go on glitter hunts, looking for bright and shiny treasure! I suppose you could also say it’s a Guernsey (g) litter hunt!

So to keep the momentum going, we’ll be going on a glitter hunt on Saturday 8 February 2020 at Delancey Park. Here we have the added bonus of the opportunity to visit the Delancey Dolmen (up the hill from the tennis courts), and there’s the playpark for children too.

Those of you who would like to join us (no need to let me know, just turn up!), we’ll meet at 2.30pm in the main carpark and spread out, before returning with our finds at 3.30pm (or before, depending on amount of litter!).

Please bring a bag and gloves. Litter pickers can be hired from Guille-Allès and Priaulx libraries.
