Emma has significantly benefitted over the last twenty years from pranayama and meditation as imparted by various teachers, and would like to share this practice with you so that you may also benefit.
Vedic Chanting - Group study
Emma was introduced to Vedic chanting many years ago and started studying it regularly with her teacher, Helen Macpherson, seven years ago now. Vedic chanting is a powerful option for those who wish to take their yoga practice beyond the asana.
Breath and Yoga Nidra
A session to include various breathing techniques to pacify and calm the mind and soothe the nervous system followed by a deeply nourishing and healing Yoga Nidra (Tantric guided deep relaxation/meditation techniques).

During this inspiring, uplifting and light hearted session you will be introduced to the traditional Usui system of Reiki healing, which will support your ongoing healing and personal and spiritual development.
Reiki Empowerment - for all who are Reiki attuned
For those Reiki attuned (all levels including Reiki Level One), you are invited to join Emma for a Reiju Empowerment, a gentle ritual, very similar to the attunement, to deepen your connection to the Reiki source and support your ongoing personal and spiritual development and healing.

Reiki Level Two Attunement Session
During this inspiring, transformative and empowering day you will be introduced to three of the four Reiki symbols, including the power symbol, the mental/emotional symbol and the distance healing symbol. You will learn how you may incorporate these symbols into any healing session and into your life generally.
Intimate āsana classes
These sessions are a wonderful way to deepen your Yoga practice. Guided by Emma in groups of 6, you can receive more personalised instructions as we work deeper into the body to remove stagnant energy and change unhelpful movement patterns.

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali was the first text written solely on the theory and practice of yoga, complied circa 2,000+ years ago the sage Patanjali in India, who codified and organised the knowledge and wisdom of yoga from much older traditions.
This text is as relevant now as it was then and the study and embodiment of the Yoga Sutras can provide much comfort and support in navigating the problems and challenges that we face today and in understanding more about yoga and the working of our mind especially.
Emma has studied the Sutras a number of times now and whilst she certainly isn’t an expert, she enjoys sharing what she has learned with others so that they may also benefit – there is great wisdom in this text and it can really help to provide some grounding to our spiritual practice and help us to better navigate our lives.
The sessions are friendly and informal, encouraging discussion and interaction as a means to understand the teachings. These sessions are open to everyone, regardless of your level of knowledge of the Sutras or experience of yoga. Ideal for those who wish to deepen their yoga practice and move it beyond the asana.
WHEN: Roughly once a month on a Sunday (60 mins)

COST: £75 for the course, no refunds for missed classes but a recap will be given at the beginning of each class.

Calling ALL those Reiki attuned (including Level One)
We need anyone who is Reiki attuned to help share the healing gift of Reiki to those with Parkinsons, in conjuction with the local Parkinsons support group.
This is a fantastic opportunity to practice and boost your confidence!
We will work in teams so you won’t be on your own with a client unless you choose to be.
Remember, it’s not about us, Reiki helps us to heal both individually and collectively - helping the planet vibrate a little lighter as a result.
The more hands the better - please come and support!

The breath is one of our main sources of energy alongside food and sleep, and yet we often pay it very little attention until it is constricted in some way.

A Yoga Nidra will follow, which is a powerful meditation technique (practiced lying down) inducing complete physical, emotional and mental relaxation. You can work with a Sankalpa (like an intention/affirmation) to assist with healing, transformation and manifestation.
The session will finish with a sound bath, incorporating various singing bowls and other instruments, allowing you the opportunity to go deeper within, raising the vibration of the cells in your body and encouraging healing and positive transformation - a blessing for the ears.
An act of self-love, this session is suitable for anyone who wishes to slow down, go within, nourish, nurture, balance, centre, increase vibrancy and consciousness and come home to themselves on a deeper level again.
Open to all, no prior experience required, students can sit in a chair if easier than sitting on the floor. Lying can be done on one’s back or side, as needed to allow a deeper rest.

Cost: £13 per person
Bring: Something comfortable to sit on, perhaps a blanket and a cushion, and whatever you need to rest easily during relaxation, maybe another blanket and cushion, perhaps an eye pillow!
