Rest, digest and slow it right down

Yoga to go within
It’s a busy time of year, when all we really want to do is slow things down and rest into ourselves as the days shorten and we head towards the winter solstice. It’s important to rest, not least to digest our food, but also to digest our life experiences, come back to ourselves, process all that has happened and centre and ground ourselves, feel our heart and listen within, come home…

Join me on Tuesday, from 6-7pm, for a restful yoga class, where we’ll breathe together, practice a few yoga postures gently and slowly and enjoy a 20-minute nourishing and nurturing Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation).

All are welcome, men and women, teenagers, those new to yoga, those with an existing practice, those who usually push it hard but need to rest and those who already know the benefits of slowing down and going within.

WHEN: Tuesday 13th December, 6 - 7pm

WHERE: St Martins Community Centre, downstairs in the room opposite the office.

BRING: a yoga mat, a blanket, a cushion and whatever else you need to feel comfortable, cosy and warm
