Opening to Soul – A journey through the chakras to better know the self
I love the chakras, they are our everything and more, portals to the soul and the rainbow body itself. They encompass all that we are, all we feel, how we think, how we love and transform, how we create and express ourselves, and how we stay stuck.
Always we need to go to the energy for it is the finest vibration and everything else is manifest because of it. The energy is an expression of our soul, of our radiance and vibrancy, and our God-like quality. When we bring greater balance to the chakras then everything changes, we become more of who we truly are and less of who we falsely identity with.
It is therefore through the chakras that we perceive our reality and experience life, not only how we relate to others and to the world, but how we relate to self, and this in turn affects our perception of reality.
Our soul is constantly trying to communicate with us through our body, through our aches, pains and tensions, through illness and accident. But it doesn’t speak the same language as our rational mind so we need to be attentive, turn inwards, quieten the thinking, let go of the judging and analysing and be still, quiet, listening for the whisperings of the soul trying to align us to our true potential in this life time.
Each week we’ll journey a different chakra, weaving together various Tantric yoga techniques including asana (postures), pranayama (breath), mudras (hand gestures), yantras (visualisations), meditation techniques, guided relaxations and enquiry. Sound healing will be integrated where necessary. Oracle cards available. Journaling is encouraged between sessions but not essential. Sharing with Emma between sessions (by email) can be helpful too.
These sessions provide an opportunity to heal negative feelings you may have around your body and your relationship to self, becoming increasingly aware of negative thought patterns, behaviours and mindset that limit and depreciate, clearing energetic blocks and therefore helping to increase energy, vitality, self-acceptance, self-love and sense of wholeness – opening to soul - in the process.
