Vedic chanting group class

  • Cobo Community Centre Le Guet GY5 7PN (map)

Join Emma to experience the benefits of Vedic chanting with other like minded souls.

We will chant mantras to help balance the chakras, remove illness, for ongoing health and vitality, to strengthen faith, to overcome those dark moments, and to promote peace and lightness. Most of you have probably already chanted with Emma using the Bija Mantra and/or “Om”.

Chanting can help you find your voice and have greater confidence in using it. It can also help you open to greater levels of healing, authenticity and self acceptance.

The vibratory effect of chanting the various ancient Vedic texts really does have a positive effect on our energy body and this is the reason vedic chanting is used in yoga therapy - the very act of chanting Sanskrit positively changes things.

We carry all sorts of wounds from our childhood around being seen and heard and many have taken on a false belief that they can’t sing and therefore can’t chant. This is not true and perhaps now is the time to change that story!

Other benefits include greater inner peace, calmness and contentment, improved breathing capacity, memory support and mental discipline, improved focus, listening and communication skills as well as reducing mental and emotional agitation.

ALL welcome - appropriate for complete beginners and those wishing to take their practice beyond the āsana. It is an informal and friendly affair!

Chant sheets will be provided. No refunds for missed classes.
