During this series we will chant mantras to help balance the chakras, remove illness, for ongoing health and vitality, to strengthen faith, to overcome those dark moments, and to promote peace and lightness.
The sessions are appropriate for complete beginners to those who have chanted previously. All that is required is a willingness to show up and connect with your heart and voice.
We carry all sorts of wounds from our childhood around being seen and heard and many have taken on a false belief that they can’t sing and therefore can’t chant. This is not true and perhaps now is the time to change that story!
The vibratory effect of chanting the various ancient Vedic texts really does have a positive effect on our energy body and this is the reason Vedic chanting is used in yoga therapy - the very act of chanting Sanskrit positively changes things.
Chanting can help you find your voice and have greater confidence in using it. It can also help you open to greater levels of healing, authenticity and self acceptance.
Other benefits include greater inner peace, calmness and contentment, improved breathing capacity, memory support and mental discipline, improved focus, listening and communication skills as well as reducing mental and emotional agitation.
The sessions will take place in the healing space in St Peter’s from 6-7pm on the dates below, no more than 6 individuals in each group, chant sheets will be provided, it is an informal and friendly affair, we even drink tea! The cost is £75 for the block, no refunds for missed classes.
